TNA Star Gone After Destructive Relationship Made Public

One TNA star is no longer with the company after disturbing allegations about their private life came to light.

In September, TNA star Masha Slamovich was accused of domestic abuse by a friend of her former partner, MLW wrestler Akira. The friend went public with a Dropbox link that allegedly contained text messages between Slamovich and Akira where domestic abuse issues are discussed.

Akira took to social media, where he issued a lengthy statement and discussed his relationship and detailed how the issue had affected his mental health. Although Slamovich is never mentioned by name in Akira’s post.

Masha Slamovich issued her response to the allegations, indicating that she takes responsibility for her actions and apologising:

Up until the beginning of this year, I was in a toxic and mutually destructive relationship. We hurt each other deeply, and in private moments, failed to treat each other with the consideration and respect we both deserve.

I take responsibility for my actions and I am sorry, embarrassed, and ashamed of the role I played in our relationship and the way things turned out.

In the time since, I have sought help to reflect on this time and deal with conflict in more mature, healthier, and sustainable ways.

I apologize to those I let down, including my former partner. I hope he is able to heal.

This will be my only statement on the matter.

Masha Slamovich Gone From TNA

Slamovich’s profile was removed from TNA’s website on December 9th, and Fightful Select has confirmed that the former Knockouts Champion is done with the company. Although her roster profile was only removed very recently, it is believed her contract with TNA expired in late October.

Creative plans were believed to have been pulled from Slamovich after the public allegations were made against her.
