TNA’s Joe Hendry Reveals Dream TV Job That’s Nothing To Do With Wrestling

Joe Hendry

Joe Hendry has a dream job that has nothing to do with performing on camera.

The rise of Joe Hendry over the last year has been incredible. Not only is Hendry a former TNA World Champion, but he’s also the first TNA wrestler to compete at WrestleMania when he faced Randy Orton.

Some people didn’t like that Orton beat Hendry in three minutes, but Hendry had no problem with it and thought it was an incredible moment to get a huge ovation at WrestleMania as the TNA World Champion.

While he is no longer the TNA World Champion, Hendry remains one of TNA’s biggest stars and perhaps someone who could be a full-time member of the WWE roster in the future.

In an interview with Matt Aguilar of ComicBook, Joe Hendry discussed some of his current dream jobs that he is currently doing.

“Well, actually, believe it or not, I have a couple of dream jobs. Obviously, my number one is pro wrestling. I got to pursue music to a fairly serious degree, and still do, I guess, with my entrance song and recording songs. So I get to do those dream jobs. I love combat sports, so I did Judo to a pretty decent level. I’ve won national titles in amateur wrestling.”

Joe Hendry Is A Big Fan Of South Park

As he continued, Hendry revealed a dream job that involves writing for the iconic, adult animated show South Park.

“But actually, another dream that I have, and I don’t know if I’ve ever spoken about this, but it is actually to write for South Park. So, yeah, that’s something I would love to do.

So, now I guess maybe that might be possible. I don’t know. Maybe I should reach out, but yeah, I would love to, I would love to write for South Park.”

South Park has been around for nearly 30 years and remains a popular show with fans who literally grew up with it as one of their favorite shows.

Joe Hendry will get another shot at the TNA World Title at Slammiversary on July 20th when he faces Trick Williams of the WWE NXT brand.
