TNA Champion Makes Surprise WWE Debut
The partnership between WWE and TNA continues with a current TNA champion making their presence felt in NXT.
In 2024, the partnership between TNA and WWE came into sharp focus with then Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace appearing in the Royal Rumble match. Grace made a handful of other appearances in WWE but she was far from alone.
The Rascalz and Joe Hendy have also appeared on WWE TV as part of the crossover while the likes of Tatum Paxley and Sol Ruca appeared on TNA shows.
Now the partnership has continued on the January 14 edition of NXT as Cora Jade took on Kelani Jordan. Before the match started, TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich was shown watching from ringside.

TNA Set To Lose 2 Major Names
Cora Jade picked up the win and then teased a showdown with Slamovich that could see her challenge for the TNA Knockouts Championship. Slamovich will put her title on the line at Genesis against Rosemary on January 19 in a Clockwork Orange House of Fun match.
That show could spell the end for two major TNA stars. Jordynne Grace is believed to be WWE-bound when her TNA deal ends and she faces Tessa Blanchard at Genesis. Former TNA World Champion Josh Alexander will also be in action against former AEW star Mike Santana. Josh Alexander’s deal in the company is close to expiring and it is widely thought that his future lies elsewhere.
