TNA Breaks Major Record At Slammiversary
TNA has reason to celebrate as the company breaks a major record at Slammiversary.
Slammiversary was a tough night for the stars of TNA in the ring as WWE’s Trick Williams retained the TNA World Championship against Mike Santana and Joe Hendry in a three-way match.
Not only that, but another title went to WWE as NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne won the TNA Knockouts Championship from Masha Slamovich.
But despite the company’s two top titles being in the possession of WWE contracted stars, Slammiversary proved to be a huge night for TNA as the promotion broke its North American attendance record.
TNA Slammiversary Sets Attendance Record
TNA issued a press release to announce the record-breaking attendance number, as announced by commentator Tom Hannifan on Slammiversary itself:
The 2025 Slammiversary live event – held Sunday, July 20, at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York – was record-breaking for TNA Wrestling, as the crowd of 7,623 was the most-ever at a TNA show in North America in the company’s 23-year history.
The new TNA attendance record surpasses the former record, set in 2013.
TNA announcer Tom Hannifan made the record-setting announcement during the live broadcast of Slammiversary.
“This company has worked tirelessly since last December when it was announced that Slammiversary would be held at the UBS Arena,” said TNA Wrestling President Carlos Silva. “To see a record-setting crowd at the UBS Arena was a milestone moment for TNA Wrestling that no one will ever forget.”
WWE star AJ Styles returned to TNA at Slammiversary, where he gave his Phenomenal seal of approval to a brand new TNA champion.
