TNA Boss Drops Major AJ Styles Hint

TNA legend AJ Styles could be about to make a return to the company.

Through 2024 and into 2025, the relationship between WWE and TNA has only grown stronger and stronger. In fact, that relationship is so strong that NXT star Trick Williams currently holds the TNA World Championship.

That title switch came after former Joe Hendry faced Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41. But could the partnership now be about to move to a phenomenal new level?

TNA Boss Kickstarts AJ Styles Speculation

In a new post on social media, TNA President Carlos Silva announced that more seats will be made available for Slammiversary on July 20. But interestingly, he noted that the show will be “PHENOMENAL” — perhaps a reference to AJ Styles’ famous nickname.

We’re moving the stage back to accommodate more fans. This event will be TNA’s greatest achievement and trust me it’s going to be PHENOMENAL. #Slammiversary #TNA

After failing to gain a foothold in WCW and WWE in the early 2000s, Styles headed to Ring of Honor and TNA, where he established himself as one of the best wrestlers on the planet. Styles became synonymous with TNA and stayed with the company through several ups and downs before finally leaving in 2014.

Back in June 2024, AJ Styles admitted that he’d love to return to TNA if the right opportunity came up.

At Slammiversary, Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich will face NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne in a huge “Title vs. Title” match. Meanwhile, Trick Williams will defend the TNA World Championship against Joe Hendry and Mike Santana.
