Producer TJ Wilson Was Told He’d Ruined WWE Star’s Career
Not everyone was impressed with T.J. Wilson’s WWE work.
For several years, Chad Gable was regarded as one of the most underappreciated stars in all of WWE. His in-ring skills, legitimate amateur background, and ability to laugh at himself when required have regularly earned comparisons with Kurt Angle, but he’s yet to hit the same heights as the WWE legend.
Regardless, Gable remains popular with fans and fellow stars on Monday Night Raw.
TJ Wilson Heaps Praise On WWE Star Chad Gable
During an appearance on Busted Open Radio, popular WWE producer T.J. Wilson was quick to praise Gable, while recalling being told that he’d ruined his career. Wilson didn’t reveal the match or who had made the comment in question.
“I have produced a Chad Gable match, and I was told I ruined his career six years ago,” Wilson laughed.
“He’s doing just fine… To sit and watch his growth and know that I’ve had nothing to do with it. I’ve been able to just sit and watch it as a spectator. It’s been such a great thing to watch and to see, and I mean, you’re right, I do envision what the matches with Gable that I could’ve had with him, what they would look like, and how they would play out in my mind. We have a lot of incredible talent.
He’s just one of the really exceptional talent that I would — in terms of someone I never got a chance to wrestle with — I got to wrestle a lot of great, great people.”
Chad Gable is set to be out of action for several months after undergoing shoulder surgery. However, El Grande Americano, portrayed by Ludwig Kaiser (allegedly), will face Octagon Jr. at AAA’s event on July 25.
