Title Clash Among New Matches Announced For AEW Dynasty

Two more matches have been announced for AEW Dynasty.

It’s been officially confirmed that Chris Jericho will defend the ROH World Championship against Bandido at Dynasty. But there’ll be more than just championship gold on the line as Bandido’s mask will also be up for grabs.

Jericho’s challenge had initially gone unanswered, with Tony Khan suggesting there was a secret reason behind the delay.

The Owen Hart Cup match between Mark Briscoe and Kyle Fletcher has also been added to the show.

In the other Owen Hart Cup matches announced for the event, Will Ospeay will face Kevin Knight and Mercedes Mone will square off against Julia Hart.

Knight is a late replacement for Jay White who was withdrawn for the tournament on Dynamite. It was later reported that Switchblade had suffered a legitimate injury that would require surgery. In recent days it’s been confirmed that Mark Davis and Orange Cassidy are also dealing with injuries.

AEW Dynasty 2025 – Updated Card

Dynasty is set to be headlined by the World Title match between Jon Moxley and Swerve Strickland. The challenger became the number one contender after beating Ricochet at Revolution. Elsewhere, “Timeless” Toni Storm puts the Women’s World Title on the line against Megan Bayne, and Kenny Omega will defend the International Title against Mike Bailey and Ricochet.
