Timeline For Matt Jackson’s Return To AEW
Matt Jackson is out of action in AEW with a partially torn bicep but a new report suggests he might be back in action for Double Or Nothing.
The Young Bucks were part of a storyline on Dynamite recently which saw them whisked away in ambulances following an attack by the Blackpool Combat Club. Matt Jackson wasn’t actually seen on camera but Nick Jackson was seen being accompanied by Hangman Adam Page to the hospital.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that the company is hopeful that Jackson could be back for Double Or Nothing:
“He’s getting therapy, of course, for the injury, a partially torn biceps. Hopeful for Double or Nothing. The timetable he was given was 6-8 weeks, and that is enough time for Double or Nothing, but that’s not a guarantee, but it’s certainly a strong hope and obviously by watching the TV…it looks like The Young Bucks, Hangman Page, and Kenny Omega against The Blackpool Combat Club….looks like an eight-man tag team….could be happening at Double or Nothing. I don’t know that. It just feels like the setup.”
Double Or Nothing 2022 played host to the wild Anarchy In The Arena match between The Jericho Appreciation Society and the Blackpool Combat Club so the storyline that is playing out could see a return to that match for the BCC.
