Tiffany Stratton Sees No Reason To Change Despite Criticism
Tiffany Stratton is sticking with what works.
Through early 2024, Tiffany Stratton’s population steadily grew after she was cheered to the rafters at Elimination Chamber in Australia. Over the following months, those cheers got louder, peaking when Stratton cashed in the Money In The Bank briefcase in January 2025.
This led to some criticism of Stratton, with some claiming she should have done more to lean into the cheers instead of continuing to perform as a heel. However, the woman herself has a different view.
During an appearance on Busted Open Radio, Stratton said that she doesn’t see a reason why she should change when her ‘mean girl’ character is working.
“I got cheered starting in Australia. It made its way to America. Why would I change anything? Why would I start acting different if the mean girl persona is working and people are liking it and cheering me? I feel like the moment I do start acting like a good guy, I feel like that’s when people would turn on me and maybe start booing me. Why would I change anything?”
Tiffany Stratton Got On The Wrong Side Of Triple H
In the lead-up to their match at WrestleMania 41, the rivalry between Stratton and Charlotte Flair went totally off the rails. During one infamous segment on SmackDown, Flair seemed to lose control as the crowd turned against her, and the pair both went off script as the insults grew increasingly personal.
This included Stratton taking a shot at Flair over her recent divorce, something the latter had only just revealed that she was struggling to deal with.
New docuseries WWE: Unreal showed the aftermath of the segment backstage, with a visibly annoyed Triple H telling a member of staff to warn Tiffany Stratton about her conduct. He said she needed to apologise to Flair, adding that they needed to “get on the same page.”
