Why Tiffany Stratton Challenged Nia Jax To Last Woman Standing Match

Tiffany Stratton With Womens Title WWE

Tiffany Stratton has a point to prove.

Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax have been at odds with each other for a long time now. On the upcoming episode of SmackDown, the two will clash in a Last Women Standing Match. The WWE Women’s Champion explained why she chose the stipulation against the former Queen of the Ring winner.

Tiffany Stratton was on the SummerSlam Kickoff Show to hype up the August PLE and also talk about the upcoming shows in Saudi Arabia. This week’s episode of SmackDown will take place in Saudi Arabia before Night of Champions. On the kickoff show, Michael Cole asked her why she chose to face her arch-nemesis in a Last Women Standing match. Stratton replied, saying that she will prove to Jax, once and for all, that she is as good, if not better than her.

“For some reason, Nia Jax said that I am not as good as her. So this Friday, I finally stick it to her that I am just as good, if not better.” [33:35 – 33:50]

Nia Jax Thwarted Naomi’s Cash-in On Tiffany Stratton

On last week’s episode of SmackDown, former WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax made her presence felt in her feud against Tiffany Stratton. Jax recalled how Stratton once sought her guidance, only to betray her in return. Declaring it was her title to begin with, demanding a match.

The Women’s WWE Champion interrupted and fired back, telling Jax to accept that she’s better. The champion then announced that their clash next week would be a Last Woman Standing Match. A brawl broke out between them, with Jax hitting a spinebuster and two leg drops before holding up the title. Naomi was quick to capitalize on the situation and ran out to cash-in her MITB briefcase, but was stopped by Jax. Stratton took advantage of the situation, dropkicking Naomi into Jax and standing tall in the end.
