Tiffany Stratton Finally Cashes In WWE Money In The Bank

Tiffany Stratton has kicked off 2025 in a serious way as she finally cashed in her Money In The Bank contract but did she claim WWE gold on SmackDown?

Tiffany Stratton won the Money In The Bank contract back in July but her path to gold was complicated when her close friend Nia Jax captured the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam.

Since then Jax has urged Stratton to cash in her briefcase on the Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan at every turn but Stratton appears to have been playing 3D chess while everyone else was playing checkers and her plan unfolded on the first SmackDown of 2025.

Nia Jax was scheduled to defend her title against Naomi on the show but earlier in the night Jax appeared backstage with Candice LeRae teasing that they had not heard from Stratton signalling trouble was afoot.

Tiffany Stratton Outsmarts Everyone

However, during the title match, Stratton appeared to tease a cash-in while LeRae distracted the referee. Stratton nailed Naomi with her briefcase allowing Nia Jax to win the match and all appeared to be well. But Stratton then shocked everyone as she attacked Candice LeRae before Bianca Belair ran to the ring to hit Nia Jax with the KOD.

Tiffany Stratton then threw Belair across the announce table leaving the champion laid out in the ring. Tiffany Stratton picked her spot and cashed in her contract, nailed her Prettiest Moonsault Ever and defeated Nia Jax to become the new WWE Women’s Champion.

This is Tiffany Stratton’s first title on the WWE main roster and her first gold since she lost the NXT Women’s Title in September 2023.
