Tiffany Stratton “Ahead Of The Curve” According To WWE Rival
Tiffany Stratton continues to turn heads.
A little over three years after wrestling her first-ever match, Tiffany Stratton won the Women’s Championship after cashing in her Money In The Bank contract on January 3, 2025.
The star had been earmarked for success almost from day one, and that hype went into overdrive after she won the NXT Women’s Title. In the months after her title reign came to an end, Stratton was one of just two NXT stars to take part in the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble. Although she didn’t win, she entered at number 29 and played a role in the bout’s final stages.
A week after this appearance, Stratton officially moved to SmackDown.
Speaking on the WWE Playback episode looking at the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble, Shayna Baszler made a point of praising Stratton, even if she is a little annoying.
“I will give her this, for as long as she’s been wrestling or as not long as she’s been wrestling, she’s ahead of the curve. I’ll give her that. Annoying as a champ, sure, but she’s ahead of the curve.”
Tiffany Stratton Upsets Former Champion
While she’s earned praise far and wide for her meteoric rise through the WWE ranks, the Women’s Champion has managed to get on the wrong side of an ex-WWE star.
Former NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose recently called out Tiffany Stratton for using “her words” during a promo on SmackDown. On her podcast, Rose took issue with Stratton using the phrase “Put some respect on my name.”
Many fans have called out the comments for being somewhat odd, as while Rose used the phrase during her own wrestling career, she doesn’t own it and has very little connection, if any, to its use in popular culture.
Speaking elsewhere, Rose said she has unfinished business with wrestling but dismissed talk of an immediate comeback. The star hasn’t wrestled since being released by WWE in December 2022.
