Ticket Prices Explode For John Cena’s Last WWE Visit To Iconic Venue
John Cena is inching closer to retirement.
On the September 5 edition of SmackDown, John Cena made his final appearance for the blue brand in the same venue where he made his famous 2002 debut. It’s been reported that Cena will be viewed as a Monday Night Raw star until he retires.
That same day, it was announced that Cena would make his final appearances at the TD Garden in Boston and Madison Square Garden in New York on November 10 and November 17, respectively.
However, at least in New York, those tickets won’t come cheap.
With the official pre-sale underway, Ticketmaster is listing the top-tier “Ringsider Package” for $2,958.25 before seller fees. This includes exclusive merchandise, an autograph, and a limited edition ringside chair.
Meanwhile, platinum seats will set fans back $1,107, with ringside seats priced up at $815.25. Back floor seats will also come in high, listed at $398.30.
100-level seats are listed for $372.20, 200-level for $276.25, and 400-level for $193.25. Tickets at the 300-level aren’t yet available.
John Cena Prepares To Say Goodbye
The news of those two tapings came just before it was confirmed that John Cena will wrestle his last match on December 13 at Saturday Night’s Main Event. However, instead of signing off in Boston as had been expected, Cena will say goodbye at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
There remains no word on who Cena will be facing.
Following the chaotic start to SmackDown, it was officially announced that John Cena will face Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza. The announcement came after Lesnar cost John Cena the United States Championship against Sami Zayn.
