Thunder Rosa – “I’m Coming Back Soon”
AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa has given the latest update on her continued absence from the company and says she’ll be back soon.
Thunder Rosa has been absent from AEW television since announcing she was having to withdraw from her title defence against Toni Storm at All Out in early September due to injury.
Instead, Storm won a match to become Interim AEW Women’s World Champion on that show and afterwards seemingly suggested that Thunder Rosa’s injury might not be all that it seemed.
In a video shared on La Mera Mera’s Instagram, Thunder Rosa thanks fans for their ongoing support and says that she’ll be back soon but currently has no timeline for her AEW return:
“Shoutout to all of the AEW women’s division, you guys are doing great. But I’m getting better, time is coming, I’m coming back soon.”
“I know you guys are really eager to know when I’m back, the news will come later, I’m sorry I don’t have a timeline. I just wanna thank everyone for being so happy to see me and asking [me] to come back, so I wanna thank everyone for that.”
Thunder Rosa will not be a part of Full Gear on November 19th and instead, Interim AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm will continue her defence of that title against Jamie Hayter.
