Thea Hail Taps Out Major Champion On WWE NXT

Thea Hail is one of the most promising stars in NXT’s women’s division and has been rising the ladder on the black and silver brand. She has been challenging for titles on the brand recently.

She teamed up with Joe Hendry to challenge for the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships at NXT Gold Rush, but was unsuccessful in winning the belts. However, she followed that performance up with a big win last week.

She defeated Arianna Grace last week by trapping her in a Kimura Lock and used the same move to make a current Women’s Champion tap out tonight on NXT.

Thea Hail made Blake Monroe tap out on WWE NXT

The NXT Women’s North American Champion, Blake Monroe, hosted an open challenge for her title as she was in a giving mood, as the holiday spirit took over her.

She was following in the footsteps of former NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov, who is hosting open challenges for his US Title, but things suddenly turned sour for Blake as numerous women from the roster made their way to the ring to challenge Blake.

Thea Hail jumped on Monroe from behind while she was focused on the horde of women coming to the ring. She quickly locked in the Kimura on Monroe, who almost immediately tapped out, but a match was never officially started between the two.

While she might not have won tonight, Thea would surely use tonight’s incident to challenge Blake Monroe in the future.
