Thea Hail Emerges Victorious In WWE NXT’s Opening Bout Tonight

WWE superstars Thea Hail and Joe Hendry competed at the two-week-long NXT Gold Rush event, where they challenged AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions Ethan Page and Chelsea Green for the titles.

However, the duo was unable to dethrone Chelsea and Ethan as champions despite their best efforts. They were chatting backstage when they were interrupted by the duo of Stacks and Arianna Grace.

Grace mocked Thea Hail during their segment, stating that had Hendry picked her as his partner, they would’ve taken the belts from Ethan and Chelsea, which led to a match between the two women.

Thea Hail defeated Arianna Grace to kick-start WWE NXT

Arianna Grace and Thea Hail kicked off the first match of the night tonight as the two women went head-to-head with each other. Hail was in control of most of the match against Grace.

However, Stacks was trying to get involved in the match, but Hail had Joe Hendry on her side, making sure nothing went awry. The finish of the match came when Hendry chokeslamed Stacks on the ring apron.

Grace tried to execute a quick roll-up on Hail after Stacks was chokeslammed, but Hail kicked out at two and quickly transitioned into a Kimura Lock on Grace, which made her tap out, and Hail walked away from the match with a crucial win.
