The Wyatt Sicks Save Cody Rhodes From Top WWE Star At Recent Live Event
The Wyatt Sicks had Cody Rhodes’ back during a WWE Championship match.
There aren’t that many non-televised WWE live events throughout the year, but during the holiday season, Raw and SmackDown stars have been on tour when they haven’t been on television.
At the December 28th WWE live event in Rochester, New York, featuring mainly SmackDown wrestlers, the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes faced Solo Sikoa in a Street Fight main event.
During the match, Solo’s allies in the MFTs stable made their presence and tried to help Solo win the title. Luckily for Cody, the Wyatt Sicks stable was there to eliminate the MFTs. That is consistent with SmackDown storylines since The Wyatt Sicks and MFTs have been feuding on television recently.
After the Wyatt Sicks helped the WWE Champion, Cody was able to finish off Solo with the Cross Rhodes to retain the WWE Championship.

Cody Rhodes Is WWE’s Wrestler Of The Year
As 2025 wraps up in the coming days, a lot of people are chiming in when it comes to looking back on the past year in WWE and other things going on the world.
Regarding the WWE Wrestler of the Year, WWE legend Matt Hardy thinks Cody Rhodes deserves the nod for that prestigious honor.
“I got to go with the face of WWE, the face of the company, the guy who represented them as their baby face champion all throughout the year. Cody Rhodes.
He is the guy that has to carry the weight and carry the burden of being the guy that is the face and the flagship of WWE and if business starts sliding, he’s the guy that has to take credit for that.”
While Cody continues to defend the WWE Title at live events, his next televised title defense will be against Drew McIntyre in a 3 Stages of Hell match on the January 9th edition of SmackDown in Berlin, Germany.
