The WWE Star Who Reminds John Cena Of Himself
John Cena has named the surprising WWE star who reminds the legendary star of his younger self.
John Cena’s final Raw match of his career is now in the books. In the hallowed halls of Madison Square Garden, Cena teamed with Sheamus and Rey Mysterio to defeat The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonagh.
Cena still has two more matches to compete in before he hangs up his boots. He will compete in his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13th, but before that, Cena will put his WWE Intercontinental Title on the line at Survivor Series against Dominik Mysterio.
John Cena Thinks Dominik Mysterio Has A Lot To Learn
Speaking on the Raw Recap, John Cena admitted that he sees a lot of himself in Dominik Mysterio, and he wants to stop the star from making the same mistakes that he made on his own rise to the top:
I’m incredibly grateful to get in there with Dom Mysterio (on the November 10 episode of WWE Raw), who I respect and admire. He reminds me a lot of me, and he reminds me of a lot of the mistakes I’ve made.
I can see all of the mistakes which are about to happen with him, and I want to shake him and be like ‘you’re going to do this’, but I want him to learn for himself. But he is authentic, he’s reliable, he works hard and is passionate about the business, he’ll learn, he’ll figure the rest out.
