The WWE Match Bayley Says Is Too Special Not To Happen
Bayley thinks a WWE dream match isn’t impossible.
The impact of WWE’s Four Horsewomen is still being felt several years after their breakthrough, and their influence will continue for years to come as young female wrestlers look to follow in their footsteps.
As attitudes to women’s wrestling in WWE slowly began to change, Charlotte Flair, Bayley, Becky Lynch, and Mercedes Mone found themselves at the forefront of the revolution in NXT. A revolution that continued when they arrived on the main roster.
Despite their lengthy history and sure-fire Hall of Fame status, Flair, Bayley, Mone, and Lynch have never wrestled each other in a four-way match. Even if fans have been calling for it for years.
Although Mone is now in AEW, one of her closest friends thinks the much-talked-about dream match could still come to fruition.
During an interview with Going Ringside, Bayley was asked about the quartet finally squaring off in a Fatal-Four-Way Match. Although a potential match seems some way off for the time being, the star said the wrestling world is “too magical” for it not to happen.
“I would love that. Since we never got it, we had a couple of tag matches, and in Madison Square Garden. I can be happy with that, if [the four-way] never did happen. I just think the wrestling world is too magical for it not to happen,”
Charlotte Flair To Join Bayley On SmackDown?
The comments from Bayley come as it was reported that Charlotte Flair would make her return to action “imminently.”
Flair has been missing from WWE television since suffering a major knee injury in December 2023. In a match on SmackDown against Asuka the star sustained a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus.
In her absence, it’s been reported that Flair will be involved in a major match at WrestleMania 41, although there’s been no word on who she might be wrestling.
