The Usos Reuniting At WWE Crown Jewel For Particular Reason
The Usos are back on the same page again as they team up with Roman Reigns to face The Bloodline and they have a good reason why it’s happening.
Over the last 15 years, The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) have established themselves as one of the greatest tag teams in WWE history.
The twin Uso brothers are eight-time WWE Tag Team Champions and their last title reign set a record since they held the titles for a record 622 days. That title ended at WrestleMania 39 Saturday in the main event when The Usos lost to Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn in an incredible match. It was a historic match since it was the first time the WWE Tag Team Titles headlined a WrestleMania PLE event.
After WrestleMania 39, The Usos were united for a few more months until Jimmy turned on Jey during a WWE Title match against Roman Reigns. The issues between the brothers led to a WrestleMania 40 match won by Jey although it’s fair to say the match didn’t live up to the hype.
Since The Usos younger brother Solo Sikoa has taken over The Bloodline group, he took out his brother Jimmy, who missed about six months of action. The Bloodline also cost Jey the Intercontinental Title. That led to Jey getting payback by costing The Bloodline’s Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa the WWE Tag Team Titles.
Next up for The Usos is a huge tag team match at WWE Crown Jewel when they reform the original version of The Bloodline with Roman Reigns against three members of Solo Sikoa’s version of The Bloodline that also includes Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa.
At the WWE Crown Jewel Kickoff event, Jimmy Uso was asked if he thought the day would come when he would reunite with his twin brother Jey.
“Family fight, family makes up, right? Did I think we would be back together this quick? I wasn’t sure. I was scared, nervous, intimidated, then I thought, I shouldn’t. I should be happy, better. I get Jey, we good.”
Can The Usos Really Trust Roman Reigns?
While The Usos reunion ended with a hug at WWE SmackDown in Brooklyn, Jey Uso admits that while he is on the same page with brother Jimmy, he’s not sure about their cousin Roman Reigns.
“I’ll be 100% with you, I really don’t know if me and Roman gonna be on the same page. I’m not gonna know til we get out there.”
“Like I said before, we have some big problems, some big unfinished business within my family. I answered the call because it is my family. I’m gonna show up, I’m gonna be there. I just don’t know if I can fully trust The Tribal Chief 100% yet. Moving forward, today, moving forward, I do trust my twin brother, 100%.”
Jey Uso would go on to explain that this story needed the original Bloodline to reunite to end this story and that’s why they are together again.
“Solo [was] waiting on the perfect time to strike and take over the family. That’s what he’s done. I feel like tomorrow night, it needed the O.G. Bloodline to come back together so we can finally end this story.”
The end of the story may come at Crown Jewel, but it’s also expected that the two sides of The Bloodline could be a part of WarGames at Survivor Series on November 30th as well.
You can watch WWE Crown Jewel, streaming live on Saturday, November 2, at 1 p.m. ET/ 10 a.m. PT on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network everywhere else.
