The Usos Laugh Off Bizarre WWE Dream Match Pitch

The Usos can’t help but laugh at a strange pitch for a huge WWE WrestleMania 42 match.

The Usos made history in 2023 when they became the first tag team in WWE history to defend tag team gold in the main event of WrestleMania. On that occasion, Jimmy and Jey Uso lost their gold to Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens as the next stage of the long-running Bloodline storyline played out.

The Usos split later that year, with both men striking out on their own. Jey Uso eventually won the Royal Rumble and captured the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 41 while Jimmy Uso struggled to break through to the top tier of SmackDown.

Times were tough for both stars in the second half of 2025, with WWE deciding the best thing for both men was to put The Usos back together in the tag team ranks. It didn’t take long for them to find success again as they captured the World Tag Team Championship from AJ Styles and Dragon Lee on the final Raw of 2025.

The Usos Crying With Laughter At Bizarre Match Pitch

It’s entirely likely that The Usos will be defending that gold again at WrestleMania, but one suggestion has been laughed off.

Taking to social media, the official account of The Usos could only cry with laughter after it was suggested they could face The New Day and The Hardys in a triple threat bout at WrestleMania 42.

The Hardys are the current TNA Tag Team Champions, and while WWE maintains a working relationship with TNA, it seems unlikely that they will be in a featured match at WrestleMania. Although much stranger things have happened.
