The Usos will be looking to make history this coming week on WWE Friday Night Smackdown.

The New Day trio of Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods & Big E hold the record for the longest Tag Team Title reign in WWE history at 483 days. This past Friday on the November 4th edition of Smackdown, The New Day confronted The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) to let them know that if The Usos beat The Brawling Brutes at Crown Jewel then The New Day were the next challengers.

At Crown Jewel, The Usos worked together very well as usual and beat The Brawling Brutes thanks to a top rope version of their 1D finishing move.

That victory by The Usos made it official. Since The Usos won the Smackdown version of the Tag Team Titles on July 18, 2021, they can beat The New Day’s record for the longest Tag Team Title reign in WWE history, but to do it, they have to beat The New Day’s Kingston and Woods.

History is on the line this Friday as The Usos defend their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles against The New Day. If The Usos are victorious, they will be the longest-reigning WWE Tag Team Champions ever, meaning that they would surpass The New Day’s previous record.

The New Day are not happy with this and seek to protect their record against The Usos.

Coming off their big win over The Brawling Brutes at WWE Crown Jewel, The Usos seem to have the momentum heading into this fierce contest. The two teams are no strangers to each other, having fought on multiple occasions, including a Hell in a Cell Match.

It’s a huge match with Michael Cole commenting at Crown Jewel that it could be one of the biggest matches in Smackdown history because they are two of the best tag teams in history and the tag team title length record will be on the line as well.
