What The Undertaker Had Stuck In Him For A Year After Final WWE Match

The Undertaker

The Undertaker wrestled his last match in 2020.

At WrestleMania 36 in April 2020, The Dead Man took on AJ Styles in a cinematic Boneyard Match, which he won. The bout was pre-taped in an elaborate graveyard setting, as it took place during the pandemic era.

WWE and The Undertaker recently dropped a fresh new episode of The Six Feet Under podcast, which featured The Phenomenal One, who is set to retire in 2026, as the special guest.

The Undertaker Lived With Glass Pieces Stuck In His Arm For A Year

During their conversation, Taker’s wife, Michelle McCool, revealed that while wrestling Styles at Mania 36, The Undertaker punched a glass and shards of it remained in his arm for almost a year.

McCool said:

“So the glass goes through his arm. They get it out, supposedly. A year goes by. Like literally, a year. We’re at home. He’s like, ‘Um, babe… I don’t know. There’s something poking out of my arm and it doesn’t feel right,’ and I look and he’s got a triangle underneath his skin…

So of course, I’ve taken out plenty staples in his head… stitches. He’s like, ‘Try to get it out.’ I’m like, ‘I don’t know what it is. You want me just to dig into your arm?’ Long story short, we get to WrestleMania the following year…

Mark said, ‘I don’t know. It kind of moves around, it kind of hurts a little bit.’ He still had glass in his arm, a year later. Doc had to cut out more glass from his arm.”

This podcast episode was taped live at The Howard Theatre on Friday, December 12, the night before John Cena’s retirement match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on Saturday, December 13, at the Capital One Arena.
