WWE Star’s Name Sounds Like A Stripper, Says The Undertaker

The Undertaker WWE

The Undertaker thinks that the pre-WWE name of a prominent women’s wrestler sounds like a stripper.

During his career as a WWE superstar, The Undertaker was known for being a badass in and out of the ring.

The WWE Hall of Famer known as the Deadman was also known for having fun on the road by drinking hard and going to strip clubs with his buddies like The Godfather, Yokozuna, and others.

With that in mind, The Undertaker was hosting his Six Feet Under podcast with his WWE Hall of Famer wife, Michelle McCool, and they had former Women’s Champion Bayley on as a guest. Bayley revealed that she used Davina Rose because Davina was a friend’s mom’s name and Rose is her middle name, so that’s why she went with it. As for The Undertaker, he thought that it sounded like a stripper name.

Taker: “Davina Rose, I mean, it kinda sounds like a stripper name.”

Bayley: “Kinda.”

McCool: “Wow. Good lord. Welcome to my life. I’m sorry.”

Bayley: “Well, we are performers, you know.”

Taker: “We are performers. It’s just a different kind of performing.” (Michelle and Bayley laugh)

That led Undertaker and Michelle to wonder whether their daughter knew what a stripper was, and it just kind of rolled on from there.

The Undertaker Genuinely Surprised Stephanie McMahon At WWE Wrestlepalooza

At the WWE Wrestlepalooza PLE in September, The Undertaker made his entrance on his motorcycle and went around the ring like he is known to do. When Taker saw Stephanie McMahon in the front row, he stopped and surprised Vince McMahon’s daughter by letting her know that she would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2026.

Recently, Stephanie McMahon opened up about the genuine shock she had when The Undertaker approached her at Wrestlepalooza.

“Oh, my goodness! So I am still so blown away. You know, you don’t ever feel worthy. I don’t think of an accolade like that.

And it’s funny because here we are, Wrestlepalooza, it’s such a big night. It’s our first show on ESPN. We’re doing it and everything, and Paul, my husband, Paul Levesque, Triple H, he had said, ‘We’re gonna do an ID shot of you in the crowd,’ like he normally does when I’m sitting in the crowd.

So I didn’t think much of it. And then the cameraman comes over, and he says, ‘Hey, we’re just going to shoot over your shoulder for Taker’s entrance.’And I was like, ‘Okay.’ Hmm, I didn’t know Taker was at the show. And I was like, but it makes sense. It’s a huge show, that we would have our biggest stars.

Like, I guess I didn’t know what was gonna happen. So here comes Take, and he’s revving his bike, and he gives me the look ringside, which he normally does if I’m sitting ringside. That wasn’t unusual. And then the bike shuts off, and I actually think he stalls it out. So I’m like, about to start laughing, like point at him.

But no, he actually intentionally shut it off there, gets off the bike, now has a microphone, and is still looking at me, directly at me. So I’m like, okay, something’s happening here, but I don’t know what it is.

He calls me over, and then he’s like, We’re gonna sit there. I mean, you want me to sit there? “Sit down.” Oh, okay. It’s the Undertaker, you do as you’re told.”

Stephanie would go on to say that she thought perhaps it would be about a birthday gift, but it was more than that – it was the WWE Hall of Fame announcement delivered by The Undertaker.

“And as he’s talking, it’s going through my mind like, what on earth is this? ‘Cause we’re live, I know we’re live. It’s my birthday the following week. So I’m like, is he going to lead everybody in singing Happy Birthday? That would be weird.

And I’m like, maybe he’s just setting up a big announcement for his show or something like that. And I have no idea where he’s going. And then he says the, “Are you ready?” And I’m like, “Woo!” But again, I don’t know what he’s talking about.

And I think he’s gonna get up now and segue into whatever the real reason was he came out. And then he said to be the first, when he used the word “inducted,” that’s when I realized, and you can see it in the video when you watch it back, like you could see it actually register across my face.

And I was just blown away. I mean, it’s the most tremendous honor, and for him to be the one to tell me. And, you know, it’s a little overwhelming.”
