The Undertaker Surprises NXT Champion With 3 New Stars
The Undertaker has made a surprise appearance on NXT as he sent a warning to a current WWE champion.
Oba Femi retained his NXT Championship at Stand & Deliver with a win over Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans in a triple threat match. Trick Williams is now intertwined with TNA World Champion Joe Hendry, while Femi’s next challenger is yet to come to light.
On the April 29 edition of NXT, Oba Femi was being interviewed backstage when he was interrupted by a familiar face, WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker.
The Undertaker Sends Message To Oba Femi
The Undertaker had words of praise for Oba Femi but warned the champion that NXT is only Femi’s yard “for now.” The Phenom then introduced three participants from WWE LFG who are said to be vying for NXT contracts: Anthony Luke, Shiloh Hill, and Jasper Troy.
Shiloh Hill will be part of the 25-man battle royal on the May 6 edition of NXT to find the next number one contender for the NXT Championship. Fellow WWE LFG talent Chris Island will also be a part of that match.
23 men have been announced for the battle royal to win a shot at Femi’s gold, including Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans, Lexis King, Shawn Spears, and Ethan Page. It was noted on the show that TNA talent could well be included in the bout.
