The Undertaker Names Star Who Should Have Ended WrestleMania Streak

The Undertaker

The Undertaker makes the case for someone other than Roman Reigns ending The Streak.

At WrestleMania 30, the unthinkable happened and Brock Lesnar became the first man to defeat The Undertaker at WrestleMania. The move was not only controversial at the time, but remains a huge talking point almost a decade on.

A year after being pinned by Lesnar, Undertaker returned to action to face Bray Wyatt. Despite the great deal of hype around the match, it underdelivered, at least in part due to Wyatt suffering an ankle injury the day of the event. There were also suggestions that Wyatt should have been the man to beat The Streak given the similarities between their two characters.

During a Q&A he posted to his Patreon, Undertaker said Wyatt was the logical person to beat him at WrestleMania, explaining that the win would have done more for him than it did for Lesnar

“If it wasn’t Roman, I think the most logical person to break it would have been Bray Wyatt. I think probably of the three (Lesnar, Reigns, & Wyatt), it would have meant more to his career than even Roman’s.

For Roman, it would have been very special but for Bray, who there were so many comparisons between the two characters and the darkness and the different things, for him to be able to have broke it would have been such a feather in his cap and something that could have extended the character of the Undertaker in a different capacity.

Bray would have been in ring aspect of it, but I think that those characters would have somehow maybe merged together in some kind of higher power type deal. But I think of all the people that it would have helped the most, I think Bray would have been the guy.”

The Undertaker To Narrate Bray Wyatt Documentary

On March 18th it was announced that a new Bray Wyatt documentary is coming to Peacock on April 1st.

The documentary will be narrated by The Undertaker, with several current stars and legends sharing their memories of Wyatt.
