The Undertaker Reveals Hilariously Low Royalty Checks From Cult Film

The Undertaker

The Undertaker is still raking in the cash from his movie debut — kind of.

After realising a career in WCW wasn’t going to take him to the promised land, The Undertaker arrived in the WWF in late 1990 and kicked off one of the most famous runs in company history.

The star’s commitment to his character quickly became the stuff of legend, and he became one of the most famous wrestlers on the planet in short order. But while The Deadman was establishing himself in the WWF, he made a short appearance in Suburban Commando alongside Hulk Hogan.

During a recent episode of his Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker called filming for the movie just before debuting with the WWF. ‘Taker revealed that he still gets royalty checks for the role as Hutch, not that they’ll get him especially far.

“I did the world’s worst movie before I started with WWE. Suburban Commando, if you’re curious. I still get checks. Every once in a while, I get one that is a dollar 25. It’s been a while since I got one from Suburban Commando, but I still get them,”

The Undertaker Is Heading To SummerSlam

Meanwhile, it’s been announced that The Undertaker will be part of SummerSlam weekend in Cleveland, Ohio.

The WWE Hall of Famer will be hosting his UNDERTAKER 1 deadMAN SHOW on the afternoon of August 3rd, in the hours before the summer spectacular. ‘Taker made his most recent on-screen appearance for WWE at WrestleMania 40, appearing from nowhere to hit The Rock with a Chokeslam as Cody Rhodes battled Roman Reigns.
