The Undertaker Names One Thing Modern WWE Is Missing
The Undertaker wants WWE to make changes.
By many metrics, WWE is firing on all cylinders. Ticket sales remain strong and the company is raking in money hand over fist. However, there’s always room for improvement.
During an interview with WrestleSTAR, The Undertaker offered his take on modern WWE and suggested that the company is missing “deeper” storylines.
“Man, it’s hard to put a finger on that, especially since the business itself is so incredibly strong right now. As far as gates and all the money that is generated, I feel like there needs to be maybe…some more deeper storylines. Everything is, we had The Bloodline story, which was incredible.
And I mean, it’s probably not even over yet, but there because there’s so many in The Bloodline or who’ve crossed paths with the bloodline. But that was such a it was such a rich, rich story. And it worked so well. So I would like to see some more deep-rooted trajectory.”
Michelle McCool noted that Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley succeeded for those reasons before The Deadman broke down his philosophy.
“Yeah, I think more personal, more personal stories and vendettas and underhandedness,” he explained. “Yeah, I like my bad guys to be bad and my good guys to be good, right? You know, I need to feel my good guys in jeopardy and have them really overcome things. And I think if we can do a little bit more of that, I think we’ll be in a good spot.”
The Undertaker Open To Important Backstage Role
Meanwhile, The Undertaker has admitted that he’d like to work as part of WWE’s creative team if the right opportunity comes up. Although he conceded that it would need to fit with his schedule as the job would require 100% of his attention, he’d be open to working alongside Triple H.
The comments came after Konnan claimed ‘Taker was working as part of the backstage team during Worlds Collide and Money In The Bank.
On a similar theme, Savio Vega recently confirmed that he’s working as a producer in AAA on behalf of WWE.
