Why The Undertaker Thinks Female WWE Star Is “The GOAT”
The Undertaker has claimed one female WWE star is the best to ever do it.
After spending decades engulfed in the wrestling business, The Undertaker has seen many of the all-time greats come and go. So to many stars of today, praise from the Hall of Famer serves as a big endorsement.
The latest name to get the tip of the black hat from ‘Taker is Charlotte Flair.
The multi-time Women’s Champion recently returned to action at the Royal Rumble, where she won the women’s match to earn a title shot at WrestleMania. In the weeks after the show, Flair announced that she’ll face Tiffany Stratton at the Showcase of the Immortals.
The Undertaker Heaps Praise On Charlotte Flair
On a recent episode of his Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker looked back at the Royal Rumble, and in doing so, he touched on Flair’s victory. The WWE legend said he’s spoken to Flair several times since the event, and he never fails to be impressed by her mindset and incredible determination.
“I’ve seen her post-Rumble. To listen to her talk about what she wants to do, it’s like all of the things that she’s already accomplished are great, but her mindset is she’s starting anew. She wants to conquer the world all over again. It’s an incredible mindset to have at that part of your career.
I actually had her talk to some of the talent on my team for LFG, trying to get them to understand her mindset.
But listening to her passion, you could tell what’s real and what’s not real and what’s lip service. To hear her talk about what she wants to do, it’s really inspiring to have that kind of passion at that point in her career. She’s got nothing left to prove. She’s the GOAT, and she took her rightful place back at the top of the food chain. Rhea [Ripley] might have something to say about that.”
It was recently reported that The Undertaker was behind a major change to season two of WWE LFG. For the second season, Mickie James has been replaced as one of the coaches by ‘Taker’s wife Michelle McCool.
According to one report on the switch, The Deadman pushed for McCool to be involved, but there’s been no suggestion that he specifically wanted James removed.
