The Undertaker WWE Hall of Fame

A familiar face is returning to WWE programming because The Undertaker is coming back to television.

The January 6th episode of WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix is expected to be one of the biggest shows in the history of the company.

While there are a lot of big matches set for Raw’s Netflix debut like CM Punk facing Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns doing battle with Solo Sikoa, there will also be legends at the show. Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan is expected to be at Raw and many other legends will be there as well.

It has been reported by PWInsider that WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker is in Los Angeles for Raw tonight and has been scripted into tonight’s RAW premiere on Netflix. It was confirmed by Fightful Select that The Undertaker is there as well.

The Undertaker Said WrestleMania 40 Appearance “Closed The Book” On WWE Career

After 30 years in WWE as the legendary character known as The Undertaker, Mark Calaway retired in November 2020 in front of no fans due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, Calaway has become a podcaster who has told some incredible stories about his time as a pro wrestler.

At WrestleMania 40, The Undertaker showed up during the Roman Reigns-Cody Rhodes match for the WWE Title. After The Rock tried to help Reigns win, the gong hit, the lights went out and The Undertaker appeared behind The Rock to deliver a huge Chokeslam.

In the days after that appearance at WrestleMania 40, The Undertaker spoke about how it brought him closure on the end as a WWE superstar.

It was fun, obviously, it was fun. Doing this as long as I have, being involved in that and how important that storyline was, and is. But when it was over and I am running out of the building I’m like, I’m good now.”

“I don’t know if I needed [a crowd], because my last match was in The Boneyard, there was nobody there, [it was] cinematic. It was like a moment of clarity that I had like I’m ok now. I’m not saying that I wouldn’t do something like that in the future, but I don’t have that feeling in my chest like I had since I retired. I hadn’t come to peace with it.”

“I knew, just like I knew when it was over in The Boneyard match at 4 in the morning. I’m good. I had no clue, but I knew once it was done, you’re good man. It’s time to flip the page and go to the next chapter. It was such a cool weekend all the way around. And then to finish off, have closure to the wrestling part of my career, it was so cool. It was a great feeling and it’s amazing. It really is an amazing feeling as I don’t have that pressure now.”

“It’s been difficult the last couple of years, especially at Mania. Even going to a regular PLE, I’ve told you this, I would leave before the matches because I get to that point where I am like I need to be out there. I was out there and my goodness, what a moment to have in a great storyline. But yeah, it was like I can close this book.”

The January 6th edition of WWE Monday Night Raw will air worldwide on Netflix and we will have full coverage on TJRWrestling as usual.
