The Street Profits WWE Tag Team Titles

The Street Profits are defending the WWE Tag Team Titles against a team that has made a big impact on SmackDown.

Winning the WWE Tag Team Titles was a long journey for The Street Profits, who finally regained them after four years. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins won the WWE Tag Team Titles on the March 14th edition of SmackDown from #DIY.

Even though the SmackDown tag team division has been on fire in recent months, the teams in the division rarely get to have PLE matches.

An example of that was on the first SmackDown After WrestleMania when The Street Profits beat #DIY and The Motor City Machine Guns in an incredible TLC Tag Team Title match that was considered by many to be one of the best SmackDown matches ever.

Two weeks after the TLC classic, The Street Profits lost a non-title match to the Fraxiom team consisting of Nathan Frazer and Axiom, who are two-time former NXT Tag Team Champions.

The Street Profits Informed Fraxiom Of Their Tag Team Title Match

Fraxiom continued their winning ways on WWE SmackDown in Greensboro when they beat former Tag Team Champions, #DIY’s Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano.

Later in the show, The Street Profits approached Fraxiom in the backstage area. Montez Ford informed them their WWE Tag Team Title match was granted for next week on SmackDown. Angelo Dawkins said they’ll be 100%, and they hope Fraxiom are 100%, too. Nathan Frazer and Axiom left to celebrate.
