The Huge Show The Rock Would Use To Bring New Fans To WWE
The Rock knows exactly what event he’d show a prospective fan to show what the world of WWE and pro wrestling is really all about.
Everyone has their own first memory of discovering pro wrestling and what it was that sucked them into the wacky world of the business.
Many fans have their own ideas of what they’d show a prospective fan with some choosing to focus on iconic moments like Mick Foley being thrown from Hell In A Cell, some interested in showcasing the in-ring technique of greats such as Bret Hart facing his brother Owen or Eddie Guerrero tangling with Kurt Angle, and other choosing the spectacle of a massive event such as WrestleMania.
Nothing Better Than WrestleMania For The Rock
Speedy of Complex posed the question to The Rock and it seems The Final Boss thinks WWE’s biggest show of the year is what it’s all about:
Come check out a WrestleMania. Come with me and check out a WrestleMania. We’ve worked for the entire year, storyline after storyline, good vs. bad, ups and downs, ebbs and flows. It’s all going to culminate to this big event in a big stadium. There is going to be fireworks, explosions.
As for what WrestleMania event The Rock would recommend to give fans a full idea of what pro wrestling is all about, it seems there’s no substitute for the original:
WrestleMania 1. Madison Square Garden. Hulk Hogan and Mr. T.
Hulk Hogan teamed with Mr. T to defeat Paul Orndorff and Roddy Piper in a tag team match that headlined the first WrestleMania event in 1985.
The Rock has hit out at suggestions he will not be part of WWE WrestleMania 41 but his status for that show appears to still be up in the air.
