The Rock’s F-Bombs Came As A Very Real Surprise To 1 WWE Star

The Rock

One WWE star was left in real shock after receiving no warning that The Rock was about to start dropping F-bombs during a live broadcast.

The WrestleMania 40 Kick Off show proved to be one of the important events in WWE in 2024. With many fans worried that WrestleMania would see Roman Reigns take on The Rock, the Kick Off event is where The Final Boss was born as The Rock slapped Cody Rhodes in the mouth and sided with The Bloodline.

That led to Roman Reigns and The Rock teaming up to defeat Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in the main event of night one of WrestleMania 40.

With chaos running wild at the Kick Off event it was left to Jackie Redmond to grad a few words with Triple H to make sense of it all, little did she know that The Rock had more to say – and very little of it was PG.

The Rock’s WWE Intervention Came As A Shock To Jackie Redmond

Speaking on Gabby AF, Jackie Redmond explained that nobody told her The Rock was going to interrupt Triple H as she was left gobsmacked by what The Great One had to say:

When we had the WrestleMania kickoff in Vegas last year, the show’s happening and I was there just to do some backstage reports and interviews and stuff and the shows like half over. My boss comes up to me and is like, ‘Hey, I think at the end you’re going to interview Hunter, you’re gonna interview Paul at the end of this when this is over. I think he’s gonna come out, do a quick interview just about how everything went.’ I’m like, okay.

He’s kind of like, ‘Just put a bow on the event, get his thoughts.’ It was our first one, it was our first press kickoff event so to speak with the crowd and everything. I was like, okay, easy peasy, no big deal. I had no idea that The Rock was going to interrupt said interview, that legitimately did not know.

I was literally just interviewing Hunter. Obviously things happened at the end of the press that I had to ask Hunter about, which I did. I knew I was doing all of that but I had no idea that would happen and I literally, if you watch the clip, everyone’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, Jackie sold that so good.’ I didn’t sell sh*t. I didn’t sell nothing.

That’s me reacting in real time to The Rock dropping F-bombs on our show and me being like, ‘What is going on right now?’ That was a true and genuine in the moment reaction. I don’t know if people will believe that, but that’s the truth.

The Rock made a shock return to WWE at the end of Bad Blood confronting both Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. The Final Boss’ status for WrestleMania 41 remains up in the air although the WWE icon has slammed reports suggesting he won’t be on the card for that show in April 2025.
