The Rock Announces WWE WrestleMania 42 Dates & Location
WrestleMania 42 is heading to a familiar location for WWE as The Rock reveals all about 2026’s showcase of the immortals.
The Rock made a shock return to WWE on the February 21 edition of SmackDown with a lot on his mind. The Final Boss proved to take his role as a TKO board member seriously as he revealed the date and location for WrestleMania 42 in 2026.
That event will take place in the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 11 and 12.
The Rock Has Message For Cody Rhodes On WWE SmackDown
The first WrestleMania wasn’t held in New Orleans until 2014’s event and WWE returned to the city in 2018 as well. New Orleans played host to Daniel Bryan overcoming all the odds and becoming the WWE World Heavyweight Champion in 2014. That night also proved historic as it was the same night that Brock Lesnar shocked the world and ended The Undertaker’s Streak.
2018’s effort is not so fondly remembered and was headlined by Brock Lesnar defeating Roman Reigns to retain the WWE Universal Championship. That show also saw a nine-year-old boy win the Raw Tag Team Championship with Braun Strowman.

The Rock also sent a pointed message to Cody Rhodes on his return to SmackDown. The Final Boss told Rhodes that he wanted his soul and he wanted The American Nightmare to become his champion. The Rock will be at Elimination Chamber on March 1 to await the WWE Champion’s answer. Depending on what it is, that could point to Rhodes and The Rock eventually having their showdown in New Orleans.
