The Rock Will Wrestle Again At This WWE Show, Says Veteran
The Rock hasn’t appeared in WWE for a while now.
The last time the WWE Universe saw The Brahma Bull in WWE was at Elimination Chamber 2025, when John Cena “sold his soul” to him and attacked Cody Rhodes.
He played a key part in their rivalry and, therefore, fans expected him to show up at WrestleMania 41 when Big Match John challenged The American Nightmare for the WWE Undisputed Championship. However, to the fans’ disappointment, he didn’t show up.
Cena and Rhodes met again inside the ring at SummerSlam earlier this year, and The Rock didn’t show up at the event as well. For the entire year, fans have been eagerly waiting to see the return of The People’s Champion, but people have been disappointed multiple times over the past year.
Recent rumors suggested The Final Boss would make his return at Survivor Series, but PWInsider debunked these rumors in their recent report. If that’s the case, then when will Rock return and when will he step back inside the ring?
The wrestler-turned-actor is currently busy with his Hollywood projects, The Smashing Machine and Martin Scorsese’s untitled Hawaiian mafia drama set.
The Rock Will Return to WWE in Saudi Arabia
But veteran Konnan believes The Rock will soon return to the ring. He even predicted the timeline of his return. Speaking on Keepin’ It 100 OFFICIAL, he stated The Great One might return to the WWE Royal Rumble 2026 (or WrestleMania 43) and wrestle during the event(s).
For those who don’t know, next year’s Royal Rumble will be in Saudi Arabia.
I think Rock will wrestle again, and it’ll probably be in Saudi Arabia. (From 3:17)
The Stamford-based company also recently announced that WrestleMania 43 will take place in Saudi Arabia as well. The announcement of WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia was met with mainly negative reaction.
Many fans expressed disappointment and frustration on social media and during live events, feeling WWE prioritized money over accessibility by moving one of its biggest shows outside North America to Riyadh. There were “boos” during the live announcement, and chants of “you sold out” at other WWE events followed.
