The Rock Will Be At WWE Raw’s Netflix Debut
WWE Raw is coming to Netflix and it seems the company is bringing its biggest hitters for its debut with The Rock set to be on the show.
WWE Raw will head to Netflix in early 2025 as part of a multi-billion deal that will see the streaming giant eventually become the home for WWE content around the globe.
For its debut, WWE is looking to stack the show to levels perhaps never seen before. So much so that some observers don’t even think it will count as a surprise when John Cena and The Rock turn up.
The Rock & John Cena Set For WWE Raw On Netflix
WrestleVotes reported on a Backstage Pass Q&A that both Cena and The Rock will be in Los Angeles for the January 6th edition of Raw, and noted that Stone Cold Steve Austin might even be roped into making an appearance:
Are you counting Rock as a surprise or are you counting Cena as a surprise? I mean, they’ll both be there. I wouldn’t be surprised if Steve Austin showed up. I’ve heard that Shawn Michaels may make an appearance. Anybody that they have under a Legends deal that is healthy enough to be in Los Angeles, I would expect to be there.
WWE is planning for WrestleMania without The Rock so it remains to be seen what The Final Boss would do on Raw. The show is sure to be full of surprises and may also see the return of one star who left the company in 2024 as Becky Lynch appeared at WWE’s event to promote its debut on Netflix.
