The Rock Breaks Silence On Steroids Allegations Following Dramatic Weight Loss

The Rock on the mic on WWE SmackDown

The Rock has finally had his say on accusations of steroid use following his recent, shocking weight loss.

At Elimination Chamber in February 2025, The Rock was on hand to light the fuse on John Cena’s shocking heel turn. The Final Boss opened the door for Cody Rhodes to align with him, but when Rhodes forcefully declined that offer, John Cena turned on Rhodes before Cena, The Rock, and Travis Scott laid a vicious beating on The American Nightmare.

WWE fans expected to see The Rock back in the company throughout the year, especially at WrestleMania 41, but he remained conspicuous by his absence.

During his time away from WWE, The Rock has been focusing on his Hollywood career. And judging by new footage of the star, which has appeared online, he’s been slimming down dramatically. The Rock then revealed that he’s planning to shed even more weight to play a “chicken man” in an upcoming movie.

The Rock Denies Steroids Accusation

His weight loss was so shocking that it sparked a lot of rumours and conversation online, with fitness influencer Alex Diago claiming that the weight loss was a result of The Rock coming off steroids.

However, The Rock has now hit back at those claims, leaving a comment on the original video where those claims were made, writing:

This is 100% not true.

It remains to be seen if The Final Boss would take the matter further if the claims made against him were repeated by Diago or anyone else.
