The Rock Returning For 3 Huge WWE Shows

The Rock WWE

The Rock is back in WWE in a big way and now the star who coined the catchphrase the show is named after has revealed he’s coming back to SmackDown.

The Rock joined TKO’s Board of Directors at the beginning of what has been a hugely turbulent start to 2024 for the company. The day after The Rock’s return was announced, news broke on the lawsuit filed against Vince McMahon alleging sickening behaviour by the ex-WWE Chairman.

Away from the board room The Rock was welcomed back to a WWE ring by Cody Rhodes as it looked like Rhodes was going to step aside and allow The Rock to finally have his highly anticipated match with Roman Reigns. However, the people disagreed with that idea.

WWE was forced into a pivot and Cody Rhodes is back on the road to finishing his story while The Rock is not happy at having to stand aside and so has chosen to stand with Roman Reigns and The Bloodline.

Now The Rock and WWE have confirmed that the megastar will be on the next three editions of SmackDown on the road to WrestleMania beginning with the sold out 1st of March show in Glendale, Arizona. That will be followed by shows on the 8th and 15th of March in Dallas and Memphis respectively.

Cody Rhodes Waiting For The Rock’s Answer

Cody Rhodes issued a surprising challenge to The Rock at the Elimination Chamber so will no doubt be listening closely to what The Great One has to say.

Rhodes was warned by Paul Heyman to keep The Rock’s name out of his mouth on Raw before Heyman pulled out two phones to call both the men he now answers to in The Bloodline.
