The Rock Promises More “Disruptive Moves”

The Rock WWE

The Rock is having fun.

With WrestleMania 41 just weeks away, WWE’s plans for the event appeared to be coming together, with several matches finally being set. However, that stability was thrown out of the window by The Rock on SmackDown.

For months it’s reported that WrestleMania plans might change if Rock decides to get involved, and it seems that’s exactly what’s happening.

On SmackDown, Rock told Cody Rhodes that he wanted him to be his champion, a reference to his own run as the Corporate Champion back in 1998. He added that he doesn’t want the Undisputed WWE Championship for himself, instead, he wants Rhodes’ soul.

Rhodes is set to respond to The Rock at Elimination Chamber, but it seems more chaos is on the way.

In a post on social media, The Rock has now promised that more “disruptive moves” are on the way while looking ahead to Elimination Chamber.

Thanks for watching the show, we got some disruptive moves coming up so tune in.

WWE Figures Unhappy With The Rock

Although the Hollywood megastar appears content to disrupt the WWE world on a whim, not everyone feels the same way.

According to a report following his appearance on SmackDown, several people within WWE are unhappy with The Rock “changing the game plan” as the company moves towards Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania. The report added that it remains unclear where Rock fits into WWE’s creative plans.

This isn’t the first time an appearance from the star has caused frustration, as it was recently noted that people within WWE were angry at The Rock following his appearance at Bad Blood in October, as he’d already told the company he wouldn’t be wrestling at WrestleMania.
