The Rock To Join Pat McAfee After WWE WrestleMania Absence

The Rock WWE

The Rock might not have shown up at WrestleMania but he is going to be part of The Pat McAfee Show, where questions about one WWE star will need to be answered.

The main event of night two of WrestleMania 41 saw John Cena challenge Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship. John Cena brutally turned on Rhodes at Elimination Chamber, turning his back on the fans for the first time in 22 years. Cena aligned with The Rock and Travis Scott to leave Rhodes battered and bloodied.

At WrestleMania 41, Cena and Rhodes threw everything at each other, but the anticipation in Las Vegas was building to see who else would appear, especially after Rhodes’ WrestleMania 40 win over Roman Reigns that featured a host of stars.

When Travis Scott’s music hit, the Las Vegas crowd were ready for more but in the end all they got was Scott who suffered a Cross Rhodes from Cody Rhodes. The distraction proved to be enough for John Cena to win the 17th world title of his iconic career.

The Rock had not been advertised to appear but given that it was WrestleMania and his initial involvement in the match, many fans still expected it, leaving them disappointed.

The Rock Makes Time For Pat McAfee

However, The Rock might not have been at WrestleMania but he has made plans to appear on The Pat McAfee Show as one of McAfee’s contributors, Boston Connor, revealed on social media. Connor alluded to the assault by Gunther on Pat McAfee as the former World Heavyweight Champion choked out the loudmouth commentator on Raw.
