The Rock Names His Favorite Wrestling City
The Rock recently named favorite wrestling city and it is Philadelphia.
During his appearance on the New Heights podcast with Jason and Travis Kelce, he explained why Philly is his favorite wrestling city and the reason behind his connection with Philadelphia being deeper than most other wrestling cities.
The Rock said Philadelphia stands out because of its unique, passionate, and gritty fan base. He described Philly as a city that embraces both villains and heroes, which makes every crowd reaction feel special.
Despite the city’s tough reputation, The Rock feels welcomed and genuinely supported whenever he wrestles there. This unique atmosphere is why he considers Philadelphia to be on another level compared to even classic wrestling towns like New York or Chicago.
The Rock said, “Chicago. New York — nothing like The Garden. Down in Texas was amazing. But Philly… what I loved about Philly — that’s a heel town, dude. There’s a lot of support there… That’s why I came back last year, man. That WrestleMania — there was nothing like it.”
Damian Priest Wants the Rock To Be John Cena’s Final Opponent
WWE star Damain Priest recently had an interview with Kairouz Bros, where he expressed his desire to see The Rock as John Cena’s final opponent. The Never Seen 17 will retire at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.
Just as a fan, and because of what they’ve meant to the business, hell, why not be Rock.
It really could be so many different people. You’ve still got Roman in there.
Go big, you know. Go the biggest you can right now. And who’s a bigger star on this planet than The Rock?
The Rock and Cena’s storied rivalry defined an entire era of WWE, creating unforgettable WrestleMania moments and elevating both superstars to legendary status. Facing The Rock would allow Cena to end his in-ring career on the grandest possible stage, against one of the most iconic figures in sports entertainment history.
The mutual respect, real-life parallels, and sheer star power would surely make their clash an emotional, fitting goodbye for Cena and capture the attention of fans worldwide. What do you think?
