The Rock Sends Message To Ex-WWE Champion Amid 6-Month Absence
The Rock sent a touching video message to a WWE superstar even though the People’s Champ has distanced himself from the company.
Fans of former US Champion Logan Paul know that even though he’s a WWE superstar, he had a flawed relationship with WWE icon Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
The main reason they had issues was when Paul did a 2017 vlog filmed in Japan, which had footage of a suicide victim. That led to a scandal that prompted Rock to end his professional collaborations with Paul.
Since Paul has been in WWE and The Rock has been involved in the company a bit more in the last few years, many people have wondered if they were friends again.
At the Elimination Chamber PLE in Toronto, The Rock was in the ring when John Cena turned heel on Cody Rhodes in one of the most shocking moments in WWE history. Since then, The Rock hasn’t been seen in WWE since he is focusing on his movie career more than ever.
On a new episode of his YouTube vlog, Logan Paul was getting ready to interview filmmaker Benny Safdie, who directed Johnson’s upcoming movie The Smashing Machine, which could lead to an Oscar nomination for Rock. As he was getting makeup, Rock had a message for Paul.
“Yo, my brother, I know I look super cool right now. Brother, I know you’re doing Benny Safdie today, I’m so happy that you’re going to meet him.
That’s my guy, that’s my brother and he changed my life and I just want you to know that and you guys are going to have an amazing talk. I told Benny how much man, I just love you and you guys are going to have a great talk.”
Clearly, based on those words from Johnson, he has mended fences with Paul, who wanted the world to know it.
Logan Paul Apologizes After Airing Video Of The Rock
After sharing the message, Logan Paul went on to apologize for showing it, but he was so excited to get such a message from The Rock.
“I’m just going to listen to the rest of this off camera. Sorry, I shouldn’t have filmed it. I was just very excited, Dwayne Johnson he’s been very nice to me recently.”
The 30-year-old Logan Paul last competed in a WWE match at Clash in Paris on August 31st when he lost to John Cena in an outstanding match.
