The Rock Making Shock Trip To WWE NXT

The Rock was a key part of WWE Raw as it premiered on Netflix and now The Final Boss is making a trip to NXT.

The last time WWE fans saw The Rock he was setting the table for a showdown with Cody Rhodes after their paths crossed at WrestleMania 40. But now The Final Boss is back and it seems like all previous plans have been cast aside.

The Rock appeared at the start of WWE Raw’s debut on Netflix as he praised Rhodes for carrying the company as Undisputed WWE Champion as their bad blood now appears to be at an end. But there was also family business for the People’s Champ to attend to.

Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa battled in Tribal Combat for the right to call themselves the Tribal Chief with Reigns picking up the victory. After the match, The Rock placed the ula fala around Roman Reigns’ neck before the two stars embraced, seemingly ruling out any Reigns vs. Rock match taking place in the near future.

The Rock Making NXT Appearance

Despite Raw on Netflix being a huge show, the biggest show in the wrestling business is always the next one and that’s perhaps why The Rock revealed that he’ll be heading to NXT on January 7.

The Rock’s daughter Ava is the current General Manager of NXT and after her recent issues with Eddy Thorpe, The Final Boss’ presence might be bad news for Thorpe.
