The Rock Makes Bizarre Admission
The Rock has admitted previous reports of his habits on movie sets are true.
Back in April, bizarre details of The Rock’s habits on set emerged. According to a report in The Wrap, The Great One would often be up to eight hours late to the set of his new movie, Red One, frustrating co-workers and causing extra costs of up to $50 million.
In an even stranger turn, the report also claimed that Rock didn’t use the public bathrooms, instead peeing in a Voss water bottle and getting a member of his team or a PA to dispose of it. At the time, a spokesperson from Amazon MGM denied the claims, but now The Rock has given his own response.
Speaking to GQ Magazine, the star admitted that he does indeed pee in a bottle at work.
“”I pee in a bottle” while working. A beat. “Yeah. That happens.””
When it comes to lateness, Rock says that does happen, but not by the amount claimed, something he says is “a bananas amount.”
“Yeah, that happens too. But not that amount, by the way. That was a bananas amount. That’s crazy. Ridiculous.”
Rock called the controversy around the Red One shoot “bulls**t” and was backed up by Director Jake Kasdan, who added that he never missed a day of work.
“[Rock] never missed a day of work ever. He has a lot going on. He can be late sometimes, but such is Hollywood—that’s the case with everybody. Honestly, I’ve made three big movies with him. I’ve never seen him be anything but great to every single person on the set.”
The Rock Feels Obligated To Help WWE Grow
Now a member of the TKO Board, The Rock wants to help expand WWE both domestically and globally. While he feels it’s part of his obligation, The People’s Champion is happy to do it. He also added that he will “forever be grateful” for the opportunities and platform WWE gave him in his career.
