The Rock Plans To Lose Even More Weight For Movie Role

The Rock has shocked the world with his latest transformation.

At the Venice Film Festival, The Final Boss was seen with a much leaner physique, presumably having lost over 30 lbs.

It seems that Dwayne Johnson lost the weight for his movie, but it’s not The Smashing Machine.

The Rock has a new movie lined up for which he needed to drop weight

During his interview with Variety, The Brahma Bull revealed that he had been pitched another movie by Benny Safdie, who also directed The Rock in The Smashing Machine.

In that interview, he revealed that while he has lost the current weight, he still has a long way to go to get into the physique that the role demands.

Benny pitched me this after. And after about 45 minutes, this pitch ended, and I said, ‘I am your Chicken Man.’

“I still have a long way to go,” he revealed.

I’m so excited to get a chance to hopefully transform again, like I was able to do in ‘Smashing Machine’. [It means] eating less chicken.

The film will be based on a Daniel Pinkwater novel of a man whose best friend is a 70-year-old chicken.

Apart from Hollywood, he might return to WWE at least once to take on John Cena for his final match. He hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since Elimination Chamber, where he played a key role in John Cena turning heel.
