The Rock Accused Of Hurting John Cena’s WWE Career

John Cena’s WWE in-ring career has ended. Fans did not get the one match that WWE seemingly teased for a while.

The Brahma Bull and The Champ aligned at Elimination Chamber 2025, where John Cena turned heel. However, creative differences with Triple H led to The Rock packing his things and leaving the story unfinished.

Fans had expected him to return to see through the heel turn, but that never happened. It gave John Cena’s Farewell Tour a sour taste since the heel turn was a wasted opportunity, and the creative team had to come up with a way to resolve the situation.

The Rock’s disappearance hurt John Cena’s career

On Keepin’ It 100 OFFICIAL, Konnan revealed that The Rock packs up and goes home when things do not go his way. He did it with Roman Reigns and also with John Cena. However, Never Seen 17 kept it professional and went with it.

I was not a fan of his first promos because we’d heard those promos before from other people. So, there’s no originality in it. I think Rock’s the guy that really messed everything up. When they didn’t want to go with Roman, and he just took his ball, went home, said ‘f*ck everybody.’ Cena was very professional because he went with it, even though I thought it hurt his career.
