The Rock Given New Title Belt At WWE Hall Of Fame

The Rock is clearly loving life back in WWE and now he’s been officially awarded a new title that he had borrowed from one of sport’s greatest legends.

The Rock will lace up his boots for the first time in years as he competes in the sixth WrestleMania main event of his career when he teams up with Roman Reigns to face Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.

The match completes an exceptional comeback for the icon with The Rock joining WWE’s parent company’s board of directors at the start of 2024. The star was at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony to induct his grandmother Lia Maivia but during another induction on the night, a new title was presented to The Great One.

Muhammad Ali Title Passed On To The Rock

Boxing legend Muhammad Ali was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame with his widow Lonnie accepting the honour on the late star’s behalf. During her speech, she paid tribute to The Rock for taking on Ali’s ‘People’s Champion’ nickname and presented the WWE star with a championship belt paying tribute to that name.

The Rock played up his new persona when accepting the belt but ultimately showed his gratitude for the new title belt that is pictured below.
