The Rock Involved In Fan Altercation At WWE Hall Of Fame

The Rock got into it with a fan at the WWE Hall of Fame.

At the 2024 WWE Hall of Fame, The Rock inducted his grandmother Lia Maivia as part of the class of 2024. The star had previously done the same for his father Rocky Johnson, and grandfather “High Chief” Peter Maivia. The rest of the class of 2024 was made up of Paul Heyman, Bull Nakano, the US Express, Thunderbolt Patterson, and Muhammad Ali.

Ali was inducted by his widow Lonnie who paid tribute to The Rock for taking on the “People’s Champion” moniker, presenting him with a special championship belt.

However, the Final Boss’ good mood was soured slightly when he left the ring and ended up trading words with a fan in the front row. In a clip widely circulated on social media, Rock can be seen telling the fan to “watch their f*cking mouth.”

Rock: “What was that?”

Fan: “Cody’s coming for ya”

Rock: “What was all before that”

Fan: “You sold out”

Rock: “That’s right, That’s what I f*cking thought, Watch your f*cking mouth.”

The Rock Shares Original Plans For WrestleMania

During an interview ahead of WrestleMania, The Rock shared his real feelings on Cody Rhodes and admitted his WWE return almost looked very different.

The megastar confirmed reports that he was originally meant to return as a beloved babyface to face Roman Reigns. However, he said that due to fans’ love of Cody Rhodes, he realised he needed to pivot and let Rhodes face Reigns instead.

The Great One closed by saying Rhodes “could not be a better human being.”
