The Rock was pleased to see an image from the second match he ever had as a professional wrestler.

When it comes to social media, some of it is bad and there’s also some good to it. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is praised by many people for using social media well. Despite his enormous level of popularity, he is really good at interacting with fans too.

Every once in a while there will be some wrestling clip that he reacts to on X/Twitter or Instagram and he’ll have an interesting response.

In this case, a fan shared an image from The Rock’s second match as a professional wrestler against Skip of the Bodydonnas, who was also known as Chris Candido. The Rock called it “incredible” that the fan was able to see it.

Incredible you’re able to see this inside footage. Wow This was my second match ever. 24hrs earlier I had my first match ever in Corpus Christi. God Bless Chris Candido.

Chris Candido sadly passed away in 2005 at the age of 33.

The Rock has teased having another match at WrestleMania 40

As for his wrestling future, The Rock has been in the news again thanks to a recent Smackdown appearance on September 15. Earlier that day, he talked to Pat McAfee (a friend of WWE) about how he’s open to wrestling at WrestleMania 40 next April in Philadelphia.

“I’m saying that’s a potential too. I’m open, I’m open, but again, let’s figure out what that is because the fans deserve something just incredible, unprecedented, and not only that, but I also want to deliver to the locker room, to the boys and the girls back there working their a**es off. What can we do to put them in a position where they’re part of something that is a new change, a new era in this world of pro wrestling.”

Whether it happens or not is unknown, but there will likely be plenty of Rock-related rumors to end 2023 and heading into 2024 as well.
