The Rock Confirms What He Told Cody Rhodes On WWE Raw

The Rock has lifted the lid on his Raw warning to Cody Rhodes.

The March 25th episode of Raw opened with Cody Rhodes addressing the crowd ahead of his two matches at WrestleMania. The main focus of Rhodes’ ire was Roman Reigns, whom he took repeated shots at, but it was The Rock who came to confront him.

The surprise appearance sent the crowd into overdrive, but they were quickly venting their disgust at The Great One. Rock slowly made his way to the ring, only to whisper something into Rhodes’ ear before heading backstage.

In a post on Instagram, Rock said he told Rhodes he was going to make him bleed.

“Tonight, I make you bleed.”

At the end of the show with Rhodes bawling with Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa backstage he was attacked by the Hollywood megastar. Rock delivered an expletive-laden commentary as he beat the American Nightmare from pillar to post, busting him open in the rain in the process.

The Rock Overshadowing Roman Reigns

Since returning to WWE, The Rock has been routinely praised for his performances on the microphone as he’s turned up the heat on Rhodes and Seth Rollins.

Speaking in a recent interview, Nic Nemeth suggested The Rock has made Roman Reigns look like a little brother, shifting the focus away from the Tribal Chief.

At WrestleMania 40, Rock will team with Reigns to take on Rhodes and Rollins. The match will be the veteran’s first in more than a decade.
